Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Information Security Systems Engineer (ISSE) to join a compact team delivering IA architecture analysis and security engineering support for NC3, COG, and Senior Leader communications. The role centers on threat-informed cybersecurity products, risk assessments, and architecture reviews to support mission partners.

Requirements include a BS in a related field, 14+ years as an ISSE/Systems Engineer, and CISSP or CASP. TS/SCI with polygraph is mandatory.

Qualifications

BS degree in CS/Info Assurance or related field with extensive ISSE/Systems Engineering experience.
CISSP or CASP certification is required.
Strong RMF knowledge and ability to conduct cybersecurity risk assessments.
Ability to brief senior DoD leadership and present complex security concepts.

Responsibilities

Lead threat-informed cybersecurity product delivery, including risk assessments and architecture reviews.
Support design, implementation, and operation of real-time capabilities to detect and mitigate threats.
Analyze candidate architectures for security gaps and recommend mitigations.
Research emerging technologies for cybersecurity effectiveness.
Engage stakeholders to define security objectives and validation methods.
Review A&A documentation for completeness and compliance.
