Job summary

Wyetech, LLC is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) in San Antonio for a hybrid role. You will design, implement, and accredit secure DoD information systems across multiple enclaves while maintaining RMF compliance.

The candidate will work with government stakeholders to assess risks, prepare authorization documentation, and ensure security controls meet DoD policies. A TS/SCI clearance is required with Full Scope Polygraph.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required and Full Scope Polygraph.
• Experience performing information systems security engineering for large, complex programs.
• Experience designing secure architectures across multiple enclaves with differing classification.
• Experience implementing DoD RMF/DIACAP processes.
• Knowledge of federal and DoD cybersecurity policies and authorization requirements.
• Experience maintaining system authorization documentation for compliance.
• Experience assessing risks with open-source, GOTS, and COTS software.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management platforms and automated scanners.
• Strong TCP/IP knowledge and secure network design principles.
• Experience with DISA STIGs/SRGs and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, assess, and implement secure system architectures for multiple enclaves with varying classifications.
• Create and maintain security authorization documentation per DoD policies.
• Implement RMF accreditation throughout the lifecycle.
• Develop risk assessments, compliance artifacts, and supporting materials.
• Evaluate risks when integrating OSS, GOTS, and COTS components.
• Use vulnerability management tools to assess posture and drive remediation.
• Apply DISA STIGs/SRGs to ensure compliance and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Provide security planning, risk analysis, and policy guidance for enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and cybersecurity staff to meet security requirements.
• Support continuous monitoring and ongoing authorization maintenance.
