Job summary

Wyetech, LLC in Maryland seeks a Senior Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to support secure DoD missions. You will design, implement, and accredit secure information systems across multiple enclaves, collaborating with gov't stakeholders and development teams to ensure proper security controls and continuous monitoring.

The role requires RMF expertise, STIG/SRG interpretation, and experience with eMASS/Xacta.

Qualifications

• Experience creating and maintaining system authorization documentation per DoD policies.
• Strong understanding of RMF processes and accreditation requirements.
• Experience implementing RMF/DIACAP and DIACAP-like processes as applicable.
• Experience assessing risks with OSS, GOTS, and COTS components.
• Experience using vulnerability management and automated scanning tools.
• Experience interpreting DISA STIGs/SRGs for enforcement and compliance.
• Experience as security planner, risk analyst, and risk mitigator.
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 controls and artifact generation.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, networks, and enclave architectures.
• Experience handling POA&Ms in RMF systems (eMASS, Xacta).
• Ability to design secure distributed/cloud environments.
• Capability to guide development teams on security controls.
• Knowledge of information assurance policies and workforce requirements.
• Independent and collaborative work style.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and accredit secure information systems.
• Perform security assessments and manage adverse risks across multiple enclaves.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders, architects, and engineers on security controls.
• Navigate RMF workflows, upload artifacts, and track POA&Ms in eMASS/Xacta.
• Support secure networking, computing, and enclave environments, including cloud-based apps.
• Develop and enforce security architectures and trusted relationships with external systems.
• Contribute to certification, risk analysis, and security awareness activities.
