Job summary

Enlighten is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to design and secure multi-enclave architectures, including cloud-based big data environments. The role requires a hybrid schedule with some onsite presence in San Antonio, TX.

The candidate should have DoD RMF/DIACAP experience, strong knowledge of TCP/IP and network topologies, and a TS/SCI clearance. A strategic security mindset and collaboration with diverse teams are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required for U.S. government program.
• 9+ years ISSE experience on large multi-tier programs; or 7 years with master's.
• DoD RMF/DIACAP implementation experience.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, computer architectures and network topologies.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliance (SSCP, Security+, CCNA-Security, or GSEC).
• Hybrid work with 1–3 days onsite in San Antonio, TX.

Responsibilities

• Create, review, and edit authorization documentation per DoD policy.
• Implement DoD RMF system accreditation processes.
• Assess risk and use case for open source and COTS/GOTS software.
• Use vulnerability management systems and security scanning tools.
• Collaborate with diverse audiences and facilitate data gathering.
• Provide security planning, assessment, and risk management support.
• Guide development team to meet security posture requirements.
• Support enforcement of trusted relationships among external systems.
