Job summary

Amgen's Thousand Oaks campus seeks an IS Business Systems Analyst to lead lifecycle requirements, design, and analytics initiatives. You will partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable BI features and data integrations.

The role emphasizes SAFe practices, agile delivery, and collaboration with data engineers to enable reporting in Anaplan, Tableau, and other platforms. Telecommuting may be possible.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems or related field with 3 years of experience.
• Experience in Agile and SAFe environments with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of SDLC, requirements gathering, testing and deployment.
• Experience with BI tools like Tableau and Power BI.
• Familiarity with data pipelines, Databricks and ETL frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL for data manipulation and automation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain product requirements and prioritized user stories backlog with product owner and business teams.
• Drive business requirements, functional design, prototyping, process design, testing, training and deployment support.
• Translate concepts into software features and improve customer product experience.
• Promote adoption of SAFe and agile ceremonies across teams.
• Collaborate with DTI platform and product stakeholders in a client-facing role.
• Work with data engineers to automate data flows to Anaplan, Tableau and other reporting tools.
• Manage end-to-end development backlog, dependencies, risks and decisions; may telecommute.
