Job summary

Amgen in Thousand Oaks, CA, invites applications for a Commercial Analytics Manager in a hybrid role, with in-office 2-3 days weekly across Thousand Oaks and Deerfield. You will partner with Brand teams, lead analytics delivery, and own KPI definitions, data quality, and insights across multiple datasets to drive brand performance.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s with commercial insights or consulting experience.
• Experience leading people and cross-functional teams across Brand, Sales, Forecasting, Market Research, Value & Access, and Decision Science.
• Familiarity with US pharmaceutical secondary data (claims, EMR, payer, promotional data) and applying it to commercial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Strategic thought partnership with brand leaders to set priorities and translate into analytics workplans.
• Lead analyses of brand performance, demand drivers, and competitive trends; integrate diverse data sources.
• Own KPI definitions, data quality, and ensure reproducible outputs across teams.
• Lead end-to-end analytics delivery, evaluate initiatives with KPIs, and drive optimization.
• Collaborate across US and global teams to align priorities and ensure timely analytics support.
