Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is seeking an Operations & Training Deputy IPT – Level 4 in Colorado Springs, CO or Chantilly, VA. This 100% onsite role supports critical missions, with a 9/80 schedule and potential Friday off depending on program needs.

The position requires final security clearances, proven leadership across multiple teams, excellent communication, and a background in spacecraft operations or related space systems. On-orbit training experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or Master’s with 6+ years or PhD with 4+ years in a related field.
• Active TS/SCI clearance at time of application and ability to obtain SAP access; US citizenship.
• Proven leadership of multiple teams and strong communication with diverse engineers.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple teams and align tasks with IPT vision.
• Resolve blockers and personnel issues to maintain progress.
• Ensure resource allocations meet tasking and identify efficiency gains.
• Maintain high team morale across the IPT and coordinate with customers.
• Oversee special projects and upgrades for teams within SOW scope.
