Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) is seeking a Senior Logistics Engineer to lead advanced logistics modeling and provide expert-level support for engineering programs in the United States. You will develop comprehensive logistics plans, manage data for ECPs, and coordinate cross‑functional teams to optimize design, manufacturing, and sustainment.

This role requires 10+ years in manufacturing or process engineering, CAM/IP S leadership, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering, Logistics, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Higher level degree may substitute for experience.
• Expert proficiency in logistics modeling techniques and maintenance requirements analysis.
• Extensive understanding of engineering design and manufacturing processes.
• Advanced analytical skills.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary design & development teams.
• Experience reviewing and interpreting Technical Data Packages (Drawing systems).
• Control Account Manager (CAM) experience.
• Experience as IPS Lead or IPS Manager.
• Expert-level understanding of ISP elements (Product Support Management, Design Interface, IT Systems, Maintenance Planning, Manpower, Packaging, Supply, Sustaining, Technical Data, Tracking).
• Strong understanding of Technical Manual development and Training Development Management.
• Expert-level Maintainability, Reliability, Supportability, and Human Systems Integration concepts.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, coordinate and manage logistics for design, deployment, installation, and sustainment of programs.
• Develop proposals, statements of work, acquisition strategies and ILSPs.
• Provide data to the ECP process.
• Perform evaluations of contractor proposals.
• Manage logistics subcontracts.
• Analyze contractual commitments and design changes for logistics planning.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, production, and field service to meet commitments.
• Direct and coordinate activities for logistics products and services.
