Husch Blackwell is seeking a Senior IP Docket Specialist to manage docketing for patent and trademark matters, ensuring deadlines are accurately captured in PattsyWave. The role includes training teammates and coordinating with the IP docketing team to maintain high-quality data.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of IP docketing experience, proficiency with PattsyWave/Foundation IP/CPi, and strong attention to detail. Remote work is possible; Colorado locations supported.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree or Paralegal Certificate required; 4-year degree preferred in related field
• 10+ years IP docketing experience with PattsyWave/Foundation IP/CPi
• Advanced knowledge of US and foreign patent/trademark prosecution procedures
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and NetDocs; ability to handle large spreadsheets

Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate entry and date calculation for docket entries
• Assist with training the Central Docketing team
• Review documents to identify deadlines and docket accordingly
• Monitor USPTO and foreign filings for accuracy
• Create and distribute advanced docket reports for patent/trademark matters
• Maintain awareness of USPTO, PCT and Madrid Protocol rules
