Ideal candidates have 10+ years IP docketing experience, proficiency with PattsyWave/Foundation IP/CPi, and a strong knowledge of US and foreign filing deadlines, with the ability to train others and improve processes. Remote work options are available.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree or paralegal certificate required; 4-year degree preferred.
• 10+ years IP docketing experience with PattsyWave, Foundation IP, or CPi.
• Advanced knowledge of US and foreign patent and trademark prosecution procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, DMS systems such as NetDocs.
• Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate entry and date calculation for docket entries.
• Train Central Docketing team members.
• Review filings to identify and docket deadlines.
• Verify deadlines for USPTO and foreign filings.
• Create and distribute advanced docket reports for patent/trademark cases.
• Maintain timekeeper records and update as needed.
