Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Senior IP Docket Specialist to manage docketing for patents, trademarks, and copyrights. The role supports both domestic and foreign filings and requires deep IP docketing expertise and leadership within the Central Docketing Team.

Remote or in‑person work is possible across locations. You will handle deadlines, training, and quality assurance while staying current on US and foreign IP rules.

Qualifications

• 2‑year degree or Paralegal Certificate required; 4‑year degree preferred in related field.
• 10+ years IP docketing experience with PattsyWave, Foundation IP, or CPi.
• Advanced knowledge of US and foreign patent and trademark prosecution procedures.
• Experience with Patent/Trademark maintenance, annuity renewals, and docketing workflows.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe, and NetDocs; strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate entry and date calculations for docket entries.
• Train team members on docketing processes and best practices.
• Review filings to identify deadlines and ensure proper docketing.
• Verify USPTO/foreign filings and resolve discrepancies.
• Open matters in IP docketing systems and maintain records.
