Amgen is seeking a Senior Counsel - Patent Medicinal/Pharmaceutical Chemistry to lead global intellectual property strategies for Amgen’s therapies and candidates, including small molecules and peptides. You will draft, file, and prosecute patents worldwide, working with cross-functional R&D and business teams across geographies.

Qualified candidates have a J.D. or LL.M., 4+ years in IP law, and USPTO registration.

Formación

• J.D. or LL.M. from an accredited law school, admission to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction.
• Four+ years of experience practicing intellectual property law.
• Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and execute global IP strategies for Amgen’s products and candidates.
• Drafting, filing, and prosecuting patent applications worldwide.
• Conducting prior art searches and freedom-to-operate analyses.
• Provide legal advice on IP matters to R&D and business partners.
• Assist with litigation-related matters and patent disputes.
