Job summary

Claxton Logistics Services, LLC seeks an experienced IOTA Senior Designer to lead interior design, FF&E, and space planning for a VA Martinsburg, WV warehouse project. You will coordinate with VA and A/E teams, translate requirements into construction documents, and create Revit layouts for FF&E and space plans.

Candidates must have 5+ years in facility design and NCIDQ certification, with strong experience in government FF&E packages, signage, and procurement support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facility design experience.
• Active NCIDQ certification.
• Experience with FF&E and space planning for admin, training, and healthcare spaces.
• Ability to interpret VA requirements and translate into design docs.
• Proficient in English reading/writing speaking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interior design and FF&E with VA Regional Interior Designer and A/E team.
• Translate admin requirements into design, construction, and installation documents.
• Validate FF&E selections and prepare cut sheets using VA-SEPS JSN nomenclature.
• Develop room-by-room FF&E layouts and 3D renderings in Revit.
• Maintain Master Equipment and Furniture List and submittals in Government SharePoint.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and space impacts through the change process.
• Prepare Master Artwork Plan and placement plan for admin spaces.
• Develop Master Key Plan with VA reps and manage furniture reuse/disposal records.
• Prepare rough-order estimates and support procurement packages and VA templates.
• Support delivery and installation coordination when optional services are exercised.
