Job summary

D2GS is seeking an IOTA Senior Designer for the Department of Veterans Affairs project in Martinsburg, West Virginia, coordinating interior design, room layouts, and FF&E selections with the VA regional interior designer, users, and the design team.

Responsibilities include producing FF&E floor plans and 3D room renditions in Revit, checking selections against building plans, and maintaining space information, cost estimates, and deliverables, with focus on reuse and disposal planning.

Qualifications

• Experience in facility design.
• NCIDQ certification required; provide proof of current certification.
• Experience with furniture, fixtures, casegoods and signage.
• Senior Designer certificate must be submitted separately.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interior design, room layouts and FF&E selections with the VA regional interior designer, users and the construction/design team.
• Prepare FF&E and artwork cut sheets, room-by-room equipment/furniture lists, artwork plans and space layouts.
• Produce and revise FF&E floor plans and 3D room renditions in Revit.
• Check selections to fit with building plans.
• Maintain FF&E selections, space information, cost estimates and deliverables.
• Support furniture reuse and disposal planning.
