Job summary

D2 Government Solutions is seeking an IOTA Senior Designer for the Department of Veterans Affairs project in Martinsburg, WV. The role involves coordinating interior design, room layouts and FF&E selections with the VA regional interior designer, users, and the construction/design team.

Qualifications

• Experience in facility design.
• ACTIVE NCIDQ certification is required; provide proof.
• Senior Designer certificate must be submitted separately.
• Demonstrated experience with furniture, fixtures, casegoods and signage.
• Ability to translate requirements into design, construction and installation documents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interior design, room layouts and FF&E selections with VA regional interior designer, users and the design team.
• Prepare FF&E and artwork cut sheets, room-by-room equipment/furniture lists, artwork plans and space layouts.
• Produce and revise FF&E floor plans and 3D room renditions in Revit.
• Check selections to fit with building plans.
• Maintain FF&E selections, space information, cost estimates and deliverables.
• Support furniture reuse and disposal planning.
