Job summary

Iteris, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and commercialization of hardware management software and services, including VantageLink and VantageCare.

You will drive device monitoring, remote configuration, diagnostics, OTA updates, and lifecycle service tiers, while shaping the hardware platform strategy across sensors, edge compute, and connectivity. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product management with a proven track record
• Strong understanding of IoT technologies, including sensors, connectivity, cloud platforms, and data analytics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with cross-functional teams
• Experience with hardware-software integration and lifecycle management
• Experience using agile methodologies and product ownership practices

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and product requirements for device monitoring, remote configuration, diagnostics, health reporting, alerts, and OTA workflows
• Own the commercialization of management software and service tiers; collaborate with Sales and Marketing on positioning and launch plans
• Drive integration requirements across device firmware, cloud services, and customer-facing tools
• Collaborate with other Product Managers to enable bundling and upsell across the Iteris portfolio
• Shape hardware product strategy across sensors, edge compute, and connectivity for reuse and manufacturability
• Translate customer needs and business goals into platform requirements and hardware specs
• Partner with hardware and software engineering to define interface contracts and abstraction layers
• Partner with engineering, operations, and supply chain on component selection, cost targets, and BOM optimization
• Contribute to hardware lifecycle management, including revisions, EOL/EOS, backward compatibility, and migration planning
• Work with Engineering, Quality, and Operations on certification/compliance plans and launch readiness gates
