Job summary

Copeland seeks a Senior Agile Software Engineer to design cloud-native solutions with IaC, leveraging Azure serverless architecture for scalable deployments.

You will build modern apps using TypeScript, React for the frontend and NestJS for the backend, ensuring reliability with automated tests and secure deployments. This role requires travel to US sites and sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in software development across multiple languages.
• Experience deploying and operating software on a major cloud platform (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Comfortable with automation for development, testing, and deployment.
• Enjoys paired programming and knows when it helps.
• Has shipped at least one commercially used software product.
• Willing to travel to St. Louis or Atlanta up to 1 week per quarter.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native solutions with IaC for scalable deployments.
• Use serverless computing on Azure to optimize scalability, performance, and cost.
• Build frontend and backend using React and NestJS.
• Create automated unit and behavioral tests to ensure quality.
• Implement production code daily with secure rollback mechanisms.
• Develop APIs and protocols for integration with websites, partners, apps and IoT.
