Job summary

Pragmatike is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to design, build, and scale integration-heavy services using TypeScript and NestJS. You will own critical components and help move high-volume real-time workflows across distributed systems.

Work closely with Product and Operations to deliver reliable backend services, improve observability, and implement scalable data processing. This remote role rewards ownership and collaboration in a fast-growing tech environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of professional backend experience.
• Strong TypeScript proficiency and production systems experience (NestJS or similar).
• Proven track record designing scalable APIs and backend services.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs, webhooks, and external platforms.
• Strong system design skills for large-scale, complex solutions.
• Experience with observability tools, monitoring, and production troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using TypeScript and NestJS.
