Job summary

DoorDash is seeking Senior iOS Engineers to build and maintain a large-scale mobile app powering our 3-sided marketplace. You will own projects end-to-end, mentor peers, and help scale our mobile infrastructure while delivering customer-facing features.

This hybrid role expects some in-office time and reports to an Engineering Manager. You should bring Swift mastery, iOS SDK expertise, and experience shipping mobile apps, with a track record of collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• B.S., M.S., or PhD. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Proficiency in using AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) in the full software development lifecycle.
• Expert at Swift, and iOS SDK.
• Familiarity with networking, storage, and Cocoapods.
• Systems and OOP knowledge.
• Experience building, launching, and iterating on mobile apps.

• Solve challenging real-time data transfer and synchronization problems
• Extend and implement our APIs
• Implement unit tests
• Keep up-to-date with the industry standards of iOS development
