Job summary

DoorDash is seeking Android Engineers to build and maintain a large-scale, 24x7 global infrastructure powering its three-sided marketplace. You will contribute to a high-impact mobile app used by millions and work in a hybrid role with in-office time.

You will collaborate with engineering managers to scale our mobile architecture, deliver new features, and improve testing and reliability across our Android platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, master's, or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2+ years of industry experience.
• Expert in Android SDK development in a product environment.
• Strong systems and OOP knowledge.
• Experience with Android testing frameworks and best practices.
• Experience building, launching, and iterating on mobile apps.

Responsibilities

• Work within engineering teams to build exciting Android features.
• Refactor and improve codebase continuously.
• Solve real-time data transfer and synchronization challenges.
• Extend and implement APIs for mobile integration.
• Implement unit tests to ensure code quality.
• Stay current with Android development industry standards.
