DoorDash is seeking an iOS Engineer to build and maintain a large-scale, 24x7 iOS app used by millions across a global marketplace. You will work on features, refactor the codebase, and tackle real-time data transfer challenges while implementing APIs and unit tests.

Hybrid work with some in-office time, reporting to an Engineering Manager. The role requires Swift expertise, iOS SDK proficiency, and experience delivering mobile apps.

Qualifications

• B.S., M.S., or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Expert at Swift, and iOS SDK.
• Familiarity with networking, storage, and Cocoapods.
• Systems and OOP knowledge.
• Experience building, launching, and iterating on mobile apps.

Responsibilities

• Work within our engineering teams to build exciting features.
• Improve our code base through continuous refactoring.
• Solve challenging real-time data transfer and synchronization problems.
• Extend and implement our APIs.
• Implement unit tests.
• Keep up-to-date with the industry standards of iOS development.
