Job summary

MFS is seeking a Senior Investment Data Engineer to support the Investment Data Management Office in unifying and harmonizing investment data across the organization. The role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and enabling analytics for decision making, risk management, and client reporting.

You will work with dbt, Snowflake, and cloud platforms (Azure/GCP/AWS) to deliver reliable data solutions across multiple asset classes, collaborating with engineering,

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting data-oriented applications and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data models in dbt within Snowflake.
• Build modular, scalable, and well-documented transformation pipelines.
• Design, develop, and support scalable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions for reporting and analytics.
• Support integration of data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and validation tools.
• Troubleshoot data and system issues and identify root causes.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
• Provide production support and assist during outages or incidents.
