Job summary

MFS is seeking an Investment Data Analyst to join the Data Management team in Boston. You will own data quality, lineage, and stewardship across a multi-asset book, partnering with Investment, Reporting, and Technology groups to resolve issues and implement scalable data solutions.

Join a team focused on operational excellence, governance, and data quality dashboards while supporting enterprise reporting capabilities and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, CS, engineering, data science or related field.
• 6-8+ years in investment management, with preferably 7+ years in investment data, analytics, and/or investment operations.
• Strong project management and process management skills to guide data quality improvement projects.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with scalable solutions to meet dynamic business needs.
• Deep understanding of how data is used within investment processes and its impact on outcomes.
• Broad knowledge of equity and fixed income securities and related data methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Identify, problem solve and track investment data quality and accuracy concerns to resolution.
• Autonomously manage and prioritize the backlog of data quality issues and requests with stakeholder input and risk mitigation.
• Track data lineage and data dependencies to resolve ambiguities and analyze data quality impact.
• Develop cross-functional solutions with operations, technology, distribution, legal and compliance.
• Provide SME input for data-related strategic initiatives and develop data packages.
