Job summary

MFS Investment Management in Boston seeks a Lead Data Engineer to drive data ingestion, maintenance, validation and delivery of investment data within a unified platform, enabling better investment decisions and client reporting.

You will design scalable data pipelines, manage dbt projects in Snowflake, and collaborate with technology peers, investment professionals and partners to advance data quality, resiliency and analytics across our multi-asset platform.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related disciplines.
5-6+ years of experience in design, development and building data oriented complex applications.
Minimum of 2-4 years of hands-on progressive experience from SQL to Advanced SQL.
Strong Experience in developing and maintaining data models in dbt (Data Build Tool).
Experience with data integration (ETL/ELT), data warehouse, analytics architecture; knowledge of Snowflake and cloud databases.

Develop and maintain data models in dbt (Data Build Tool) within Snowflake.
Manage and contribute to dbt projects, ensuring code quality and documentation.
Design, build, and administer scalable data pipelines and a robust data warehouse.
