Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking an Investigator to lead Insider Risk Trade Secrets protection within the Global Security Group. The role focuses on identifying, mitigating, and investigating threats to assets from trusted insiders to protect IP, personnel, and products.

The candidate will manage complex investigations, collaborate with IT Risk, HR, Legal, and Ethics, and promote the IRST Protection Program enterprise-wide. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage/assist with complex Insider Risk Trade Secrets (IRTS) Protection cases/investigations and ensures timely resolution of Insider Risk matters in collaboration with business partners (i.e., IT Risk Management Services, Human Resources, Legal, Office of Ethics and Global Employee Health).
• Promote the Global Security Group (GSG) Insider Risk Trade Secrets (IRTS) Protection Program throughout the Enterprise.
• Benchmark within industry to identify best practices that will improve and enhance the GSG Insider Risk Trade Secrets (IRTS) Protection program and operations.
• Provide Insider Risk Trade Secret (IRTS) Protection awareness training to the business and external partners as appropriate.
• Develop strong working relationships with all levels of management.
• Assist other GSG groups as needed.
