Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. in Rahway, NJ, USA, is seeking an Associate Director of Global Security to lead Insider Risk Trade Secrets investigations. The role requires coordinating with IT Risk, HR, Legal, and Ethics to safeguard intellectual property and assets from insider threats.

You will mentor teams, develop new methods for uncovering insider risks, and present findings to senior leaders. Hybrid work across U.S. and international sites is supported.

Qualifications

• Fifteen years of investigative experience in law enforcement, intelligence, military, or corporate security.
• Advanced investigative, interviewing and report writing skills.
• Experience with Data Loss Prevention tech and User Behavior Analytics.
• Demonstrated ability to build cross-functional relationships and influence senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage/assist with complex Insider Risk Trade Secrets (IRTS) cases and investigations with business partners.
• Promote the Insider Risk Trade Secrets program across the enterprise.
• Provide awareness training on IRTS protection to the business and external partners when appropriate.
• Develop strong working relationships with all management levels and other GSG groups.
