Job summary

Micron Technology, Boise, Idaho, seeks a Senior Internal Trust and Protection Analyst to lead insider risk investigations and strategic risk mitigation. You will manage end-to-end investigations, liaise with law enforcement, and craft risk-based security recommendations for leadership.

The role requires extensive experience in investigations, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to operate across global teams while protecting sensitive information and maintaining trust

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in high-tech investigations or insider threat analysis.
• Proven track record in leading complex investigations across business units.
• Experience conducting/leading interviews.
• Strong ability to source and analyze data points to drive insider threat detection and investigations.
• The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to write concise, accessible reports.
• Experience working with confidential, sensitive, or privileged information.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in applying AI tools to improve efficiency and security outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end investigations into insider risk matters at Micron, including IP theft and data exfiltration.
• Develop and implement investigative plans, evidence collection, and interview strategies.
• Serve as liaison to US law enforcement and intelligence partners on national security matters.
• Coordinate with international authorities on cross-border investigations and data privacy rules.
• Manage a portfolio of global investigations with varying complexity and urgency.
• Prepare executive-level investigation reports and threat assessments for leadership.
• Identify systemic vulnerabilities and translate findings into actionable security recommendations.
• Develop and implement insider threat awareness programs for employees.
