Job summary

ENGIE North America Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer (Inverters) for the Renewables & Flexible Power unit in Houston. You will monitor inverter and PCS performance, troubleshoot issues, and support reliability across utility-scale solar and storage assets.

You will collaborate with Operations, OEMs, and service providers, contribute to design reviews, commissioning, and operational readiness while developing technical documentation and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years engineering experience with power conversion equipment or renewable assets.
• Experience with inverter/PCS tech, DC-AC conversion, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inverter/PCS performance and maintenance data to identify issues and opportunities to improve reliability.
• Troubleshoot inverter/PCS equipment with field teams and OEMs for timely resolution.
• Conduct root-cause analyses of failures and recommend corrective actions to reduce downtime.
