Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking a SCADA Engineer to maintain and expand SCADA infrastructure across North America, Latin America, and Europe. You will support a wide fleet of renewable projects, lead system improvements, and mentor junior engineers in standard practices and new technologies.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, system integration, and ensuring scalable architecture while providing technical leadership to the team and coordinating with OEMs and integrators.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of industry experience supporting renewable energy generation equipment.
• Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for OEM hardware and software capabilities.
• Collaborate with Performance Analytics and Availability Engineering to validate system modifications and maintain operation of generation equipment.
• Support facilities and the Invenergy Control Center with upkeep and troubleshooting of field equipment.
• Use analytical, conceptual, and creative thinking to troubleshoot/improve SCADA system reliability.
• Lead technical resolutions/troubleshooting through discussions with OEM/integrators and other engineering functions.
• Work with other SCADA Engineers to integrate systems and provide telemetry to external entities.
• Validate current SCADA architecture and ensure scalability of additions/modifications.
• Provide training/development support for engineers and site personnel.
• Mentor team members on new SCADA technologies, tools, processes, and standards.
• Drive contractual terms to fit organizational needs.
• Identify renewable energy platforms and software versions that may resolve issues or pose challenges.
• Assess impact of regulatory requirements on field devices/systems
