Job summary

ENGIE North America Inc. is seeking a Grid Integration Engineering Advisor to support wind, solar, and BESS across the U.S. and Canada, based in Houston, TX or Broomfield, CO. You will lead dynamic power system modeling, interconnection studies, and ensure compliance with grid requirements.

You will collaborate with OEMs, utilities, and consultants, develop standard engineering practices, monitor regulatory changes, and guide projects from concept to field deployment.

Qualifications

• Degree required in engineering field.
• At least 7 years engineering experience, 3+ in NERC standards.
• Experience with dynamic simulations and interconnection studies.

Responsibilities

• Lead dynamic models (PSCAD, PSS/E, TSAT) for renewables assets with OEMs/consultants.
• Manage power system and interconnection studies through project lifecycle.
• Provide SME guidance on IBR performance, ride-through, and plant controls.
• Collaborate with utilities, OEMs, and stakeholders to resolve grid challenges.
• Develop and standardize engineering processes for interconnection standards.
• Monitor regulatory changes and translate into actionable requirements.
• Lead projects to deliver on schedule, budget, and quality.
