Job summary

Nuuly is seeking a Senior Inventory Planner in the United States to maximize rent and resale revenue by executing strategies for obsolete or slow-moving inventory. You will forecast demand, rebalance stock, and oversee reverse logistics across distribution centers with a data-driven, results-oriented approach.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with planning, merchandising and DC teams, and maintaining pricing models while coaching at least one direct report.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandise planning and allocation with openness-to-buy management.
• Strong financial forecasting and inventory optimization skills.
• Advanced Excel and data-warehouse tools knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts to predict inventory needs, ensuring optimal stock levels for rent and resale channels.
• Proficient in using reporting tools to analyze inventory trends, make strategic decisions, and communicate actionable insights.
• Owns and executes business recommendations, solves organizational problems, and makes informed decisions based on analysis and experience
• Tracks key metrics, designs and maintains pricing models, and applies data-driven insights to enhance strategies and support business objectives
• Builds strong relationships with planning, merchandising and distribution center teams, partners with senior management, and influences team dynamics
• Manage at least one direct report, set clear priorities, coach team members, and support career development
