DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Inventory Control Manager I to lead the inventory control team and shape strategic direction for inventory planning and control. The role focuses on aligning operational delivery with client contracts and continuous improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Inventory Control is required.
• 3+ years logistics industry experience is required.
• 3+ years management experience is required.
• 1+ years client relationship, staff mgmt & objective setting experience is required.
• Knowledge of systems such as JDA, Manhattan WMS, DMPLUS, SAP, etc., is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to the audience are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership, direction and strategy for the Inventory Control team to enable and facilitate delivery of commercial and operational objectives.
• Develop and progress key customer relationships and operational partnerships to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence in inventory control management.
• Set the strategic direction for supply chain and Inventory Control initiatives.
• Develop proactive strategies to anticipate and mitigate issues related to inventory control and client assets.
• Ensure adherence to Inventory Control KPIs as outlined in the contractual agreement.
