Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Regional Inventory Control Manager I to lead inventory strategy and drive best practices across the region. The role provides leadership for staff, mentors associates, and coordinates with vendors and customers to achieve inventory accuracy and efficiency.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 4+ years in inventory control, 5+ years in supply chain, and 3+ years in an IC manager role within a large organization. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent or 4+ years of work related experience in inventory control, logistics, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain, distribution, or related field.
• 3+ years in IC Manager role, unit pick environment, large company, preferred.
• 3+ years client relationship experience, preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to lower level inventory staff, acting as escalation point and mentor.
• Develop and ensure establishment of best practice in inventory control.
• Define and refine site metrics and reporting for inventory performance.
• Lead inventory analysis including physical inventories and discrepancy investigations.
• Collaborate with vendors, customers and internal departments to meet operational objectives.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent or 4+ years of work related experience in inventory control, logistics, or related discipline
