Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Indiana seeks a Senior Inventory Control leader to provide direction and strategy for the Inventory Control team, enabling the execution of the outlined service commitments with the client and fostering continuous improvement.

You will develop customer relationships, lead cross-functional partnerships, manage site associates, and ensure inventory accuracy, KPI adherence, and effective reporting in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 4 years Inventory Control experience required.
• 3+ years logistics industry experience required.
• 3+ years management experience in a unit pick environment preferred.
• 1+ years client relationship, staff mgmt & objective setting experience required.
• Staff management & Objective Setting experience required.
• Knowledge of systems such as JDA, Manhattan WMS, DMPLUS, SAP, etc., required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to the audience.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership, direction and strategy for the Inventory Control team to enable and facilitate the delivery of service commitments.
• Develop and progress key customer relationships and operational partnerships to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence in inventory control management.
• Develop proactive strategies to anticipate and mitigate inventory control issues and risks for the client assets.
• Ensure adherence to Inventory Control KPIs outlined in the commercial agreement are met.
• Lead KPI development and reporting across cross-functional leadership.
