Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Senior Inventory Control leader to provide strategy and direction for the Inventory Control team, aligning with the service agreement and client needs. You will drive execution and partner with operations to achieve continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes developing relationships, managing the inventory control function, and delivering results through KPI adherence, risk mitigation, and proactive data analysis across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 4 years of Inventory Control experience.
• 3+ years in the logistics industry.
• 3+ years of management experience in a unit-pick environment.
• 1+ year of client relationship, staff management and objective setting experience.
• Staff management and objective setting experience.
• Metric development and reporting across cross-functional leadership.
• Knowledge of systems such as JDA, Manhattan WMS, DMPLUS, SAP, etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership, direction and strategy for the Inventory Control team.
• Drive execution of service deliverables per client contract and commercial terms.
• Develop customer relationships and partnerships to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Ensure adherence to Inventory Control KPIs in the agreement.
• Lead inventory accuracy, reporting, risk mitigation, and asset management.
