Job summary
NEXTGEN Healthcare seeks a Senior Interoperability & Integration Solutions Advisor to lead complex data integration projects, design ETL workflows, implement interfaces, and deploy APIs across clinical and administrative systems.
The role requires hands-on problem-solving, strong client communication, technical direction, mentoring, and driving HL7/FHIR/HIPAA compliance to deliver scalable, secure interoperability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in data integration, ETL, or interoperability within healthcare/IT.
- Hands-on experience with healthcare integration platforms and cloud-based integration services preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data integration solutions, including ETL workflows and interfaces.
- Develop and deploy APIs and custom interoperability solutions.
- Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex data integration issues.
- Ensure compliance with HL7, FHIR, HIPAA and related standards for data security and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor entry-level team members and share knowledge across the group.
- Engage clients to understand requirements, align solutions with business goals, and provide strategic advisory services.
- Perform other duties to support the role objectives.
