Job summary

EY is seeking a technically skilled Internet Ingress & Edge Engineer to support the operational management, availability, security, and lifecycle of enterprise application delivery and ingress services across cloud and virtualized environments.

You will contribute to load balancing, DNS, certificate management, and edge security while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role emphasizes reliability, scale, and continuous improvement within a hybrid US context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of networking, cloud infrastructure, or application delivery experience.
• Hands-on experience with DNS, TLS, load balancers, and end-to-end traffic flows.
• Proven incident, change, and problem management in production environments.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and cross-team collaboration.
• Willingness to participate in after-hours maintenance and on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day administration and operational ownership of ingress and edge connectivity services.
• Monitor platform health, availability, performance, capacity, and risk.
• Troubleshoot routing, DNS, TLS, load balancers, and application delivery issues.
• Support incident response, major incidents, and on-call activities.
• Onboard and migrate applications, domains, and APIs with validated requirements.
• Maintain configuration records and operational documentation.
