Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a technically skilled Internet Ingress & Edge Engineer to support the operational management, security, performance, and lifecycle of enterprise application delivery and ingress services.

This role focuses on load balancing platforms, DNS, certificates, edge protection, automation with Terraform, and collaboration across cloud and network teams to ensure reliable traffic delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, engineering, cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in networking, cloud infrastructure, or application delivery roles.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of DNS, TLS, load balancers, and routing across cloud networks.
• Experience with incident and change management in production environments.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and cross-team communication skills.
• Ability to participate in on-call support and after-hours changes.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day administration of ingress and edge connectivity services.
• Monitor platform health, performance, capacity, and risk.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, load balancing, DNS, and certificates.
• Support incident response, problem management, and on-call activities.
• Coordinate with cloud, network, firewall, WAF, and vendor teams to resolve cross‑platform issues.
