Job summary

EY is seeking an Internet Ingress & Edge Engineer to support the operational management, security, performance, and lifecycle of enterprise application delivery and ingress services across cloud and virtualized environments.

You will handle load balancing platforms, DNS integration, certificate services, edge security controls, and automation using Terraform and Git workflows. This role emphasizes reliable traffic delivery and platform resilience within a hybrid, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years in networking, cloud infra, application delivery, load balancing, or related roles.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of DNS, TLS, load balancers, routing, and cloud networking across production systems.
• Experience with incident, change, and problem management in large environments.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and cross-team coordination skills.
• Willingness to participate in on-call support and after-hours changes.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day administration of ingress and edge connectivity services.
• Monitor health, performance, capacity, and risk of platform.
• Troubleshoot DNS, TLS, load balancing and routing issues.
• Support incident response, major incidents, and maintenance activities.
• Contribute to onboarding, migration, and release enablement for apps and services.
• Coordinate across cloud, network, firewall, WAF, and vendor teams.
