Job summary

EY is seeking a technically skilled Internet Ingress & Edge Engineer to support the operational management, availability, security, performance, and lifecycle of enterprise application delivery and ingress services.

The role focuses on load balancing platforms, ingress services, DNS integration, certificate services, edge security controls, and automation across cloud and virtualized environments. It requires strong collaboration across teams and on-call readiness.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience preferred.
5+ years of experience in networking, cloud infrastructure, application delivery, load balancing, Internet ingress, edge operations, or related roles.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting end-to-end application traffic flows across DNS, TLS, load balancers, routing, cloud networking, firewalls, and backend targets.
Experience supporting highly available production environments using formal incident, change, and problem management practices.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and cross-team coordination skills.

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day administration and ownership of ingress and edge connectivity services.
Monitor platform health, service availability, performance, capacity, and risk.
Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, load balancing, DNS, and certificate issues.
Support incident response, problem management, and on-call support.
