Job summary

FBT Gibbons LLP is seeking a Senior Internal Communications Specialist to craft thoughtful internal communications for firmwide audiences and leadership. You will partner with the Communications Manager and senior leaders to shape messages, programs and employee engagement across multiple offices.

The role requires excellent writing, editing, organizational and project management skills in a fast-paced professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in communications, marketing or related role.
• Experience in a law firm or professional services environment strongly preferred.
• Excellent writing, editing and content development skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with multiple priorities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with firm leadership and colleagues.
• High level of discretion handling confidential information.
• Detail-oriented, proactive and collaborative with accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SharePoint, Vuture or InterAction preferred.
• Experience with communications metrics or analytics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit and distribute clear internal communications across platforms.
• Develop executive communications, talking points, presentations and materials.
• Provide communications counsel to firm leaders and stakeholders on initiatives.
• Plan and execute complex, sensitive internal communications.
• Collaborate with leadership, admin and Marketing to support firm initiatives.
• Translate complex changes into accessible employee messages.
• Use visual storytelling to improve understanding and engagement.
• Coordinate messaging across departments, offices and teams.
• Create content highlighting initiatives, resources and priorities.
• Support change management and technology implementations.
• Distribute content via intranet, email tools and other channels.
• Maintain calendars, templates and workflows for consistency.
• Track metrics and recommend content/campaign improvements.
• Ensure adherence to style guidelines and discretion with sensitive information.
