Job summary

FBT Gibbons LLP in Charleston, WV, and other locations seeks a Senior Internal Communications Specialist to craft engaging internal communications that inform, connect, and align employees with the firm’s culture, priorities, and business objectives.

You will partner with firm leadership, the Communications Manager, and cross‑team colleagues to shape announcements, talking points, presentations and programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a communications, marketing or related role.
• Experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit and distribute internal communications for firmwide and targeted audiences across a variety of platforms.
• Develop executive and leadership communications, including announcements, talking points, presentations and other materials.
• Provide communications counsel to firm leaders and stakeholders, helping plan and execute complex or sensitive internal communications.
• Collaborate with firm leaders and Marketing/Business Development to support firm initiatives and messaging.
• Translate complex information into accessible messages for employees to understand key priorities and actions.
