Job summary

BMI, based in New York, seeks an experienced Internal Communications Manager to drive BMI's internal communications strategy across all platforms, with a focus on the intranet. You will partner with Human Resources, the DE&I team, senior leadership, and other internal teams to deliver dynamic written and visual content that supports BMI's mission, strategy, and culture.

The role also writes external-facing content for BMI.com, curates a quarterly newsletter, and contributes to high-level

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, Public Relations, or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of internal and/or external communications experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive internal communications program with departments across the company.
• Own BMI's intranet—planning, writing, producing, and posting content daily/weekly.
• Create content across platforms (web, email, video, social, presentations) while reinforcing BMI's culture and values.
• Support the Annual Report research, writing, and proofreading as needed.
• Write content for BMI.com to promote BMI-affiliated songwriters and composers.
• Curate and manage a quarterly BMI.com newsletter.
