The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of internal audit or public accounting experience, knowledge of GAAP and COSO, and comfort with ERP systems and data analytics tools. Travel up to 40% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related business field.
• Minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in internal audit or public accounting.
• Professional certification is preferred: CPA, CIA and/or CFE.
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP, COSO and Global Internal Audit standards, practices, and techniques.
• Proven experience in a large-scale enterprise, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and experience applying data analytics tools in audit work.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills (written/verbal) to interface effectively within the organization.
• Leadership and ability to manage audit teams and projects.
• High level of integrity, objectivity, and professional skepticism.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth risk assessments and develop risk-based audit programs in conformance with The IIA Standards.
• Plan, lead and execute complex financial and operational audits at manufacturing sites and IT/compliance audits.
• Evaluate internal controls against the COSO framework and test adequacy and operating effectiveness.
• Prepare clear audit observations with root-cause analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Present findings to process owners and senior management to drive action.
• Participate in special projects, investigations, and advisory engagements related to process enhancements.
• Utilize data analytics and tools (e.g., Power BI) to gain insights and identify risks.
• Mentor junior auditors and guide audit methodology and documentation standards.
• Coordinate internal audit activities across Manufacturing Plants, Divisions and Corporate Functions.
