Job summary

Pratt Industries in Carlisle, PA, is seeking an experienced accounting executive to oversee the entire accounting operation, including financial reporting and budgeting. The role directs staff, ensures accurate financial statements, and maintains compliance with audits and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will have an undergraduate degree in accounting or finance, 5–10 years of management experience in a manufacturing setting, and preferably a CPA.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with focus on accounting/finance.
• 5–10 years managing financial/accounting department.
• 3 years experience in manufacturing environment.
• CPA preferred.
• Experience in cash management and ISO/QS knowledge.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall accounting operation, including financial reports and budgeting.
• Manage and evaluate accounting staff including payroll administrator.
• Review journal entries for financial statements.
• Analyze financial statements and prepare special reports.
• Review accounts payables and receivables for accuracy.
• Evaluate credit applications and oversee collections.
