Pratt Industries is seeking a manufacturing accounting professional to support controller-level processes in a busy plant environment in Georgia. The role focuses on accurate financial statements, month-end closings, and compliance across federal and state requirements.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's in Accounting or Business, 3+ years of hands-on GL, AP, AR, payroll knowledge, and experience with SAP. Strong Excel skills and communication are essential in this team-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills with professional proficiency.
• Experience including GA manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Basic understanding of SAP financial modules.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Controller in producing accurate and timely financial statements.
• Assist in month end closing and financial reporting process including account analysis and reconciliation.
• Assist in special projects as necessary.
• Accurate and timely information for financial statement production.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
• Processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense reports.
• Post monthly journal entries (standard, accruals, and misc.).
• Audit (External and Internal) and coordination.
• Oversee/Monitor Finished Goods inventory.
