Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Accountant to support the Controller in producing timely financial statements and managing the month-end close. The role requires strong GL, AP/AR, payroll knowledge and a proven ability to analyze performance with cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting or Business; CPA is a plus, and at least 3 years of manufacturing accounting experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business; CPA certification is a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on manufacturing accounting experience.
Strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll experience.
Experience in assessing, analyzing and improving business performance.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Assist the Controller in producing accurate and timely financial statements.
Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting including account analysis and reconciliation.
Assist in special projects as necessary.
Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense reports.
Review general ledger detail and ensure timely journal entries.
Coordinate month-end and year-end reporting with accruals and schedules.
