Job summary

The role includes supervising accounting staff, reviewing journal entries, analyzing financial statements, and handling payables/receivables, credit oversight, and audits. Preference for CPA and experience in the corrugated industry.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with focus on accounting and/or finance.
• Five years to 10 years managing financial/accounting department.
• Three years experience in manufacturing related environment.
• Proven ability to analyze financial statements and identify potential problems.

Responsibilities

• Overall operation of accounting, including financial reports and budget.
• Oversight, management, and evaluation of accounting staff (including payroll administrator). Assure that accounting personnel are properly trained, motivated, and directed to fulfill their responsibilities.
• Review all journal entries for financial statements
• Analysis of financial statements and preparation of special reports
• Review accounts payables and receivables for accuracy
• Evaluate credit applications and oversee collection efforts.
• Responsible for complying with periodic financial audits
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.
