Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Controller to oversee the entire accounting operation, including financial reporting and budgeting, at our manufacturing facility. The role includes supervising accounting staff, reviewing journal entries, and ensuring accuracy across payables and receivables while maintaining audit readiness.

Ideal candidates bring an undergraduate degree in accounting/finance, 5–10 years in financial leadership, and at least 3 years in a manufacturing setting; CPA and corrugated

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in accounting/finance required.
• 5–10 years managing financial/accounting department required.
• 3 years experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• CPA preferred; corrugated industry experience valued.
• Experience in cash management.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Overall operation of accounting, including financial reports and budget.
• Oversight, management, and evaluation of accounting staff (including payroll administrator).
• Review all journal entries for financial statements.
• Analysis of financial statements and preparation of special reports.
• Review accounts payables and receivables for accuracy.
• Evaluate credit applications and oversee collection efforts.
• Responsible for complying with periodic financial audits.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.
