Job summary

Clearsulting is seeking an Internal Audit Senior Analyst to lead SOX engagements, document and test internal controls over financial reporting, and communicate findings to clients. The role emphasizes coaching staff, managing audit projects, and coordinating with co-sourced teams.

Hybrid or remote office options are available with up to 20% travel. Candidates should have 3+ years of auditor experience and CPA or CIA certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience working as an auditor in external audit or internal audit for a public accounting or professional services firm.
• Experience applying technical internal control knowledge to financial statement audits or internal/operational audits.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SOX compliance engagements, including documentation, testing and reporting of internal controls over financial reporting.
• Coach staff performing assessments to evaluate controls and financial statement risks, and perform QA of testing.
• Manage audit project plans, budgets, deliverables, and client communications as main contact.
• Coordinate with co-sourced internal audit teams to deliver audit services meeting client requirements.
• Own workstreams from planning through completion with independent research and issue resolution.
